Amlosun 10mg contains Amlodipine which is a calcium channel blocker that dilates (widens) blood vessels and improves blood flow. Amlosun 10mg is used to treat chest pain (angina) and other conditions caused by coronary artery disease. Amlosun 10mg is also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure may lower your risk of a stroke or heart attack.
Take Amlosun 10mg exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose. Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. You may take Amlosun10mg with or without food. Take the medicine at the same time each day.
Drinking alcohol can further lower your blood pressure and may increase certain side effects of Amlosun. You should not take Amlosun 10mg if you are allergic to amlodipine.
