Emadine Eye Drops 5ml

Emadine eye drops contain emedastine which is an antihistamine which works by preventing the actions of histamine.
It is used for relieving the eye symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic conjunctivitis) in adults and children aged three years and older.
How to use
One drop should be put into each eye twice a day when needed to relieve symptoms. Use them for as long as your doctor recommends.
Wash your hands.
Sit in front of a mirror so you can see what you are doing.
Wipe your eyes with a clean tissue to clear any residual wateriness or discharge.
Take the lid off the bottle.
Tip your head back.
Gently pull down your lower eyelid and look up.
Hold the dropper or bottle above the eye and gently squeeze one drop onto the inside of the lower eyelid, taking care not to touch the eye or eyelashes with the dropper or bottle.
Blink your eyes so the liquid spreads over the surface of the eyeball.
Wipe away any excess liquid with a clean tissue.
Take care not to touch the tip of the bottle or dropper with your fingers. If the dropper is separate don't put it down on any surface
It should be discarded four weeks after the bottle is first opened. This is because they could be contaminated with dirt or germs that could cause eye infections.
May cause your vision to blur temporarily after you have applied them into your eye. Do not drive or operate machinery until this has worn off.
You should take care to not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, or to your eye, in order to avoid contaminating the medicine
